Principal's Message
Dear PBS-HSA Parents and Guardians,

As we embark upon the 2018-19 school year, I am so proud of the things that we have accomplished together. Over the past nine years we have gained national recognition as one of US News and World Report's top high schools in the nation, moved into our permanent site, and watched as our sixth graduating class left the nest./p>

Each of these accomplishments could not have been done without you. Your support has been instrumental in the overarching desire that each student at PBS-HSA leaves our campus with a quality education that equips them to be critical thinkers that have a positive impact on their surrounding community and the world. As we begin this academic year I ask that you continue to show your support for our school and for your individual child.

In our quest to make your child the best that he or she can be, we need your help. Please continue to dialogue with your child each night about what they learned in school. Consistently check homework and monitor your child’s grade by using both our online system, and making frequent school visits to talk with teachers and observe classes. Finally read with your child daily. This can be done both at home and by making sure that your child has consistent access to the local public library.

As you do your part at home, we will continue to facilitate a quality school program. Remember we need your help to provide the best support for your child. Teamwork truly makes the dream work and by collaborating as partners, your child will reach even greater heights than we could have imagined.

I am looking forward to working with you and your child in the coming school year. Together, we can strive for and obtain excellence.

Sincerely,

Carla M. McCullough, Ed.D.
