Junior Intern Program

The USC Shoah Foundation would like to announce its Junior Intern program 2015-2016, a highly competitive and dynamic student opportunity. APPLICATION DUE DATE: September 16, 2016

 

The Institute is looking for interested 7th â€“ 12th grade students to participate.  The program will make strategic use of our IWitness resources to develop students’ understanding of different types of memory, deepen competency in digital literacy, sharpen critical thinking and hone social-emotional aptitude. Designed for 20 student, the program will provide opportunities for participants to interact with testimony through IWitness activities and other multimedia resources in a collaborative and supportive environment. There will also be fieldtrip and community service opportunities.  Participants will be provided with an orientation, guidance and ongoing support throughout the duration of the program.

 

Overall, the program looks to effect change by helping students become more responsible participants in civil society.

 

We want to reach a wide student demographic to enrich the program with multiple perspectives, experiences, and skills.  Your assistance in sharing this opportunity is essential to its success.
