Dress Code
School Uniform Policy
Students are required to wear the HSA school uniform at all times.
Freshman Uniform
Top: Navy Blue College-Ready Academy polo shirt
Bottom: Khaki pants, shorts, skirts/skorts
Sweater: HSA sweatshirt
Other: Any shirt worn under the College-Ready Academy polo shirt must be navy blue, black, white or grey only.
Sophomore Uniform
Top: Grey College-Ready Academy polo shirt
Bottom: Khaki pants, shorts, skirts/skorts
Sweater: HSA sweatshirt
Other: Any shirt worn under the College-Ready Academy polo shirt must be navy blue, black, white or grey only.
Physical Education Uniform
Students are required to wear the following:
Top: HSA physical education uniform t-shirt
Bottom: HSA physical education uniform black shorts or sweatpants
HSA polo shirts, sweaters, jackets, and physical education uniforms can be purchased in the HSA office during school hours.
Free Dress Policy
Students may earn a free-dress day by being responsible and being committed to the mission of HSA. When they are rewarded, students will be expected to adhere to the following rules for appropriate dress:

- All undergarments are completely covered
- All flesh is completely covered (i.e., no tank tops, spaghetti straps, high/low cut shirts or pants)
- Shoes are appropriate (i.e., closed toe, rubber soled, no colored laces)
- The following are NOT allowed for any HSAHS school activity:
- Accessories that imply gang/tagging crew/party crew activity or symbols (i.e., bracelets, belts, colors, bandanas)
- Hats or caps
- Athletic jerseys or jackets
